By analysing the average expenses (shopping, travel, hotel stays and whether a visa is required) of British Travellers across the thirty most visited cities in the world, Marbles have been able to rank each city by affordability.
The infographic also reveals landmark stores or shopping destinations and must buy items, so you know where you have to go and what you have to buy before you visit.
The top five cities for shopping
Istanbul is an iconic city thanks to its historic landmarks like the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace – but it’s also loved for its shopping, with numerous bazaars and markets where you can haggle for great deals.

The most popular shop in Berlin is Fassbender & Rausch Chocolatiers am Gendarmenmarkt – a shop where Berlin landmarks are modelled in mouth watering chocolate, and luscious cakes line the shelves.
